The eastern side
Just like the Classica area, the eastern part of Valpolicella has been dedicated to wine and olive oil production since the Roman time. Viticulture has always given fine results, with an obvious talent for producing dry wines from partially dried grapes. Aromas are complex, with flowery notes and a powerful structure.
In recent years this part of the appellation has been less exploited and the landscape is almost free from modern constructions. The hills are green. The more you go towards the North, the more they get wild.
The area is formed by many valleys. Our estate is located on the hills in the northern part of Montorio Valley.
Overlooking the valley
Montorio is a small town, a few kilometres North-East from Verona city. This place is quiet and far from the city traffic, and is right at the foot of the Lessini Mountains. Our estate, right on the top of the hills, is fresh, ventilated and kissed by the sun. We have been cultivating it with our hands since the first vine was planted.
