Rich, dry, harmonious, intense. The aged version of our Pinot Grigio preserves the younger wine characteristics and adds the softness and smoothness of time.
The grapes come from a single vineyard cultivated with biodynamic principles in Civranetta estate. Only the best bunches for each vintage, handpicked, destemmed and macerated in stainless steel for one night before fermenting with indigenous yeasts. The wine ages on lees in 500 litres French oak barrels for 10 months. The result is a rich, creamy full-bodied feeling in the mouth showing all the character of our terroir. Civranetta is like an oasis, surrounded by ancient trees, where wild plants and waterways give wildlife a place to hide, protecting our vines, helping them find balance in nature. No chemicals and constant care for almost 50 years can make the difference both for the soil and the wine.
