Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico

Here comes the king. Rich, complex, intense, seductive. Amarone Classico is made with the best bunches of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella from our Fraune estate. The grapes dry naturally for 3 months and pressed in January. The juice ferments for 2 weeks and the wine is then aged in French oak barriques and tonneaux for 42 to 50 months, before spending at least 6 months in the bottle. Roasted or stuffed meat and lamb, game, matured cheese. The match will make you lose your mind and you will quickly learn that Amarone is amazing on its own as well, or with a simple, intense slice of dark chocolate.
